Cheers mate ,Ive taken it for a few drives and it sounds great, comes on boost hard ,and isn't too laggy considering the turbo rear housing size . Needs a re tune asap as the tuner had set boost cut to 20 psi and that's what I now have the wastegate spring set to . I'll post up the dyno results in a few weeks .

I sold my 19" dark argents and had some c4 tickford calipers .I had a spare set of up rights machined flat so I used them to make a new brake kit with the c4 calipers took 2 weeks to complete.
I used my existing rotors and hubs ,made a new bracket with new uprights . The first brake kit I made I put the hole in the wrong position and calipers didn't fit so the 12mm hole in the upright had to be elongated which failed engineering. The new uprightsI got the hole in the correct position using a method I came up with. And I can just fit a 16" Shark fin. It clears by 3mm

Could use a 3rd party hoster Corey - https://postimages.org/ maybe.
When you get a method, yes, those conversion setups can be done quicker - the 2nd one I did was heaps quicker to do than the first. The dimple on the inboard side that is the spindle centre, is a great reference point with a set of dividers, to the get brackets and caliper central.

Cheers snap I'll try that out. I used washers around the caliper bracket to get the clearance then used a m12 bolt ground to a centre point i screwed them into the caliper bracket and hit the bracket with a hammer ,they left 2 marks where I needed to drill , that worked perfect .

Yeah, that looks great - always thought the 16" FTR's looked the best on the XR's.
That's a good idea re the tapered bolts - as you know you have to drill the holes blind. At least too you can check with the dividers if the bracket bolts and caliper bolts are equidistant from the hub centre. At AFD Sydney a few months ago, I noticed a lot of worked EF/EL era cars, but 9 out 10 still had the std brakes, shame they don't realise this thing isn't that hard to do. Mine on the XR6 wagon are great, good feel - hydraulics are matched to the AUII booster.

I agree the 16" FTRs look really good on ef el xr's .
Yeah you still see a lot of people on facebook asking for ef el brake upgrade suggestions. It's not a hard modification to do and works really well .
