Was there alot about two months ago but on and off once a week since then, but in the trusty hiace van.

On those globes,it seems really hard to find H3 (i think that's what it's called, the high beam one) in non HID off the shelf, still yet to replace that one

Do you think the ones you posed would be very bright? would they be like a really white light and not yellow?

What ones would you choose for the high beams? I want a really bright one, doesn't matter to much if they are illegal as you turn them off when a car is coming anyway :P

I'd go 5000k would be white .
Or even 6000k bit you'd lose lumens

As I said as you go into the white/blue their not as bright .

Get 5000k or 6000k in h3 for the high beam .

Get low beam first . See if you like them then get high beam .

I'd get 5000k . Right now I have 4300k which are yellow up close but 2m away would be white . 5000k will be white 6000k whiter again .

Try eBay for h3 highbeam globes . I got a pair for $10 they are yellow / white .

The ones I posted will be white .

Yea tell them what globe. How many k. How many watts.

For the low beam
H1 5000k 35w

For the high h3 5000k 35w

You can choose any seller but I'd personally choose 'factory kiss' which are the ones I posted .

Also what if you go up to a higher 55w instead of a 35w?

They should be fine . Just double check that highbeams are h3.

Only reason I said 35w is what I have in my car .
I suppose the 55w would be brighter .

I ll give the 55w h1 5000k hid kit a go .

Would the 55w one be safe for your car do you think?
What about the 75w one then? I have no clue on which one to go for!

75w would be something to look into .
Heat wouldnt be an issue as HIDs don't get very hot .

Yeah they dont get very hot..
Dads a sparky and he thinks 75w would be way to much for the wire, you would have to re-wire the car he recons..

I think il go with these for the low beam: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xenon-HID-Headlight-Kit-Slim-Ballast-H1-6000K-55W-12V-/320718865129?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aac5582e9#ht_5506wt_905

And these for the high beam: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Xenon-HID-Headlight-Kit-Slim-Ballast-H3-5000K-55W-12V-/330581054533?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf82a9445#ht_5506wt_905

And keep the globes around the 5000-6000w mark you think?..

Just tapped into the Parkers . A relay would be a bit over kill.

Yea that's the only thing I could think of with the 75w ones drawing to much power .
The guy who owned my xr6 was a auto electrician he installed the HIDs so guessing 35w is safe 55w may be Pushing it .

Gee everyone's adding me . Lol :)
