You do.

What is being talked about is Greenslip, which is 3rd party personal, not property. No Greenslip = No Rego.

green slip is the insurance you pay so if you injure someone in a car crash or you run them over they get heaps of compensation for their injuries for medical bills and possibly a big pay out if they cant work ever again as a result of you hitting them, in nsw you get the car roadworthyed, then you pay green slip then go to the rta and show proof that you have greenslip and the cars roadworthy and then you pay your rego and the car can be driven legaly on the road, no greenslip= no rego,

I know what Daniel is saying . He means that you don't need bomb insurance or full comprehensive insurance to register a car. The insurance where you go to an insurance company .

Your CTP is part of your Rego

Victoria
Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP)

It is required by law for each motorist to hold CTP Insurance in Australia. It protects the driver or owner of the vehicle from personal injury claims made against them in the case of an accident. CTP is important because If someone gets injured through a road accident then CTP will pay for their medical expenses and often lost wages if that has accured.

In Victoria, CTP insurance is provided to all Victorians through the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and is included in the registration price your vehicle with VicRoads; both of these organisations are owned by the Victorian Government.

Registration is calculated based on where you live and also, for first time registration of a vehicle, the market value of the car. It is a no fault system covering all parties injured in the accident. See TAC or VicRoads for more information

Go to the Car Cost Calculator to get an indication of what your CTP and Registration costs are or visit the relevant authority in your state.

Thanks mate.
Yer go convertible lol

I can't drive without the sunroof open , it's weird. Even at night it's open, well popped up.
I dont have it open cos once I was driving and a bird did a massive s**t on my window.

Results would not off been good if the sunroof was open.
