I thought the noise was chain rattle but after setting my tensioner many times it can't be that .
My injectors are noisy to. I think it's the rockers or lifters making noise

Yeah I was running 10W40 originally, and it seemed to run fine then. Changed it to 15W40 and seems just as good. Only reason why I changed it is because when I read the ford car manual it had recommended the 15W40.
Also I bought some lifters cause mine are starting to tick, roughly in the middle I think. Doubt it's the injectors as I have replaced those.

Here is the ebay link to the person I bought them off:

No worries mate, yeah they are cheap enough and easy enough to replace so may as well try them out before attempting other things.

so did replacing them stop the ticking noise??
did u use the rubber o ring retainers ??

im thinking of getting the o rings so i dont have to tape the HLA's to the rocker arm, but ive heard they work better without them

nice work with the lsd.
must bring a tear to your eye shredding them tyres, wouldn't it.
expensive and all, lol.
so how'd you go with the clutch plate mod? is it just like a cover to make the surface area bigger?

actually they dont wear down much, must be good tyres lol
im rotating the tyres soon as the rear are a bit worn, legal still lol
front are almost new.

yer with the clutch plate mod obviously the firewall is what 2mm thick??
and the sleeve just pulls through, so u get some 3mm plate and weld on a new sleve.

i cant take all the credit, heres the docco for it,
fordmods-technical-documents-diy-f38/firewall-re-enforcment-plate-manual-e-series-t66746.html
