i payed $1000 for a full set. I didnt notice a big difference because before i put them in i had brand new shocks. And i put the rear in first, then the front a few weeks later. Im not saying they are s**t they are a awesome shock . If you went from standard shocks/springs to bilsteins with a lowered spring you'd notice a big difference. Id know because i used to drive a ef with chopped springs lol . My car has a stiff ride and doesnt bounce around. And im running ultra low rear and super low rear. Also corners well. So yea they are a great shock. One thing is im running 19"s and i feel every bump in the road. With some 16" rims it would be perfect. Im lookin for some el xr wheels. sorry for the lack of paragraphs but im on my phone.

Thanks mate not a bad price for one of those ! Was looking at the single din ones too cause I can't be a*** modifying the headunit for a double din, but they do vary in price a bit for the two sizes.

you dont have to modify the single din, you can buy a double din. \http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/110754537279?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_1287

i would of bidded on this one but he says the ashtray wont close.

id rather the screen and not flip up one, i reckon the screen looks better.

1 tail light is not brand new
2 rear mould isnt flush with bumper
3 multiple polish scuffs
4 no towbar cover
5 interior is dirty

they said bring it back in a week so they can hand polish it so ill get up them then

overall it looks very good except those minor things

cheers mate . It looks like it had never happened. They did a good job. Except there was a few polish scuffs and couple of other things. Im hoping to have the ticky kit on by the end of this year.

Im spraying it myself. So if it turns out good ill spray the bonnet and guards as they have a few stone chips.and maybe the roof .

Decided not to mod the xr6 anymore and leave it stock as
ive been getting good comments that its clean and original. Not many good ones around.

Should be worth a few dollars in years to come. Not that id sell her.i had a squizz on car sales and theyre asking 7-8k for a tidy el xr.

But im keeping my eye out for a clean burgundy el ghia as that will be my new toy. Ill put the turbo on that and have some fun with it.

wired up a power point to fit the 15A plug for the tig welder, i have no gas atm so i used the arc welder mode, it welds good, had it on 200A burning away 3.2 electrodes, so its capable of welding thick metal.

just need some quality electrodes as the general purpose are s**t, and i think they were a bit damp.
