Beauty ! They look nice, I was considering those when I was looking for some... ended up getting some green stuff pads and dba slotted rotors. Feels fantastic now.

yea cant wait to get the rotors on tomorrow and actually stop lol

the are a good looking rotor and wont rust

yer i know uniacidz, over all was a great job would never of know it happened, it just the little things that pisses u off, im goiong back in a few weeks so they can polish it, ive told them about all the problems and they said they ll fix it.

whats the best way to bed in new pads and rotors ?? im thinking of taking it down macquarie pass, and using the brakes most of the way down, but light braking only ?????

I did the same on my early pair of rotors and pads... took it up to high speeds and stopped hard, they felt like s**t.

On my new slotted pair and ebc green stuff pads they recommended 300km of light braking which I did and that proved more effective, so next time your out try some light gradual braking on them.

thanks for the feedback guys . The brakes work well with light pedal but as soon as i try to brake hard they just wont grip.

Ive bedded them in now im just going to use light braking for a few hundred km's
the discs are still grey so i think there is still the bedding in compound on the pads . When that wears away they should be better.

I dont want to sound negative here mate. But i was of the understanding that you never run pads in via HARD breaking. Just a medium weight on the break peddle is all it takes. To much pressure straight up as you did will just torch the face of the pad and glaze it over.
But all the best with the it. I hope they come good.

it depends on what pads you have, they have have a different bedding in procedure, im not sure what the procedure is for my pads , i just went on the net and most people were saying to drive up to 90km then brake hard to 20km do that 10 times.

i hope i havnt glazed the rotors :(

just read the link posted . And its very similar to the way i bedded in the pads. But my rotors are still grey ?

Must just be the bedding in s**t on the pads. Ill drive with light braking for a 1000km or so and see how it goes.

Replacing the rear rotors and pads could help lol
