They feel good, I'm not sure what they would feel like if they were f**k up as I don't think I've ever had a shock stuff up .

Ride still is stiff and when going over bumpy roads it doesn't bounce , it's more of a stiff bounce .

If they did stuff up , can they be rebuilt ??

I would like to see how much travel I have . I don't think I have ever bottomed them out . They are a very stiff shock .

Yeh they can be rebuilt and revalved if you want harder or softer...

Does your front and rear feel the same in regards to firmness??? or rear/front is softer...

The other day I had to merge off the side of the road to get into the turning lane cos traffic was banked up. And then hit a pot hole :(
But luckily my rimskins saved the lip from getting f**k up. But it ripped it off .

There was no way I'm paying another $100 for a set .
Until today I found these

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com.au/viewi ... 0267205997

Rimskin copies for $20 , bargain .
It doesn't say in the description exactly there purpose but I'm pretty sure it's to protect the rims lip

Mine are a tad softer at the front and I think it's got to do with the springs... As I have kings at the front and pedders at the rear. The rear pedders springs feel as thou they respond better to bumps and speed humps...

I have kings all round and have been thinking of changing to different springs . To see what it's like

Im tempted to chage the front to pedders as well but not sure if it's worth the investment...

It was either koni red adjustables or bilstein .
I chose bilstein because there was a big write up on shocks and someone said that the koni reds leaked oil . Nothing bad was said about bilstein .

Probably won't get new springs , mine are fine for now , I think smaller rims would give a better ride

Here's the link

Never had stockies on my xr6, I don't think I want to lol
They wouldn't last long and neither would my licence ,

I had a set of ftr's and a set of 17" rims which came with my car when I brought it.
I'm kicking myself for selling both sets.

Hard to find a decent set of ftr's . Everyone seems to be asking between $400-$600 .
f**k me they are only worth $250-$300.

I had a good set lined up for $250, only problem was they were in Alice springs was going to cost me $400 to get them back . f**k that

I'll keep looking for some .
