ok heres the first pics of my car when i bought it back in 1985
paint was in ok condition, polar white, body had a few dents interior was a light blue colour the engine was a standard 200ci super pursuit with a 3 speed manual and speco floorshift. photos were taken just after i repainted the blackouts in the grille and had just put a set of yokohamas on the rear, hows the ROH cosmic supa nova wheels it came with... im pretty sure i put a set of terry toweling seat covers on it too this is how i drove it for the first couple of months while i started saving cash i think i cut the 7 foot fibreglass aerial down to a respectable 3 foot as well Attachment: scan0001.jpg Attachment: scan0003.jpg 14x8 12 slots and lowered front You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

car is sa rego, but has been reregistered at some stage before i bought it.
when i first got it i pulled the back seat out there were some parking tickets from canberra there, so who knows the plates issued around the time it came out would have been close to RJA OO1 or close the nsw plates would be yellow with black writing? plates are now different again, i bought reissued plates 12 years ago when they first come out, SXR 067. |

Hey Craig, glad you like them. I have been taking pictures as a photographer for about 4 years now, but have only just started shooting cars recently. A lot of the work i have done previously have been of objects in a studio situation, but cars are just bigger objects really, so the same rules apply; find the angles the object looks it's best, correct lens, and get the light in the right spot, only difference is the main light outdoors can't be moved easily (the sun) so you need to move the object to get the best light, and choose a location and background that is facing the right way depending where the light is coming from. Obviously this changes depending on time of day, time of year etc. Getting to know what light looks like at different times of the day is one of the best ways of improving your shots. |
