flushed the radiator madmatt's way today, worked a treat, got a bit of muck out the block
finished putting the rest of the bits on this arvo and have just got back from a drive
went up the hill to hallet cove from home, 39 degrees outside, bit of traffic, about 20 minutes return trip
only got up to 180 degrees which is not bad considering before i flushed the radiator it was getting up around 236 degrees, so im a bit happier now
car just needs a wash and cleanup, fit the ribbons/tulle etc

Mate that looks mint, you picked a perfect colour for it (even though thats what you had laying around :P ), i don't think any other colour would of suited it better, awesome job!!

ok all said and done, im a married man
all went off without a hitch
a couple of minor ones maybe
temp was 41 degrees so we were hot driving there, backs were soaked with sweat
girls were same and had further to drive from too
none of the cars were airconditioned, but we preferred them to modern plastic cars

ceremony was all good, except i dropped my partners ring trying to put it on her finger (idiot)
all in all it was a great day and tomorrow we are heading off on our honeymoon

heres a couple of pics from my phone, i have to wait 8 weeks for the professional pics from photographer

Congrats man!! Glad to hear the day went well, jeez i realy don't know how you Aussie's can cope with 40+ degree days, i struggle with high 20's  but i guess you get used to it hey..

The cars look great by the way, nice selection indeed. I must say the silver looks even better than it did before in the picture in the earlier post, it looks great!! The white ribbons suit it well :P

thanks mate, its so much work to get the day right, and money too....
we spent $20,000

hot days are part of summer here, think last year we had 10 or more days in a row over 40 degrees,
right now at 7.50pm its 39 degrees

the cars were great, good colour combinations
im lucky my uncles gave their services for free, supplying their cars, we gave them gifts for their efforts though

running temps for the cars were- xt gt 160 degrees (unbelievabley cold)
66 fairlane 190 degrees (not bad)
my 67 xr 210 degrees (bit cooler than 236 degrees last year)
