That's awesome Dan, that's pretty much exactly what I'm shooting for with mine untill a bigger bottom end. 12 pound should be a bit more funner-er than the atmo motor now, for a little while anyway.

Odd that power figures were the same as auto's usually rob power. If it's getting that much blow by maybe it will lower compression enough to screw boost up more ? lol (jokes)

i myself was suprised how well the turbo 4.0l goes as an auto..
n/a there pretty sad as auto, hence why most convert to manual, but with boost its a whole different ball park... :)

Its been common knowledge since Jesus was a lad.

I didn't change for faster times, I was just sick of changing gears.

i also changed mine to auto for the same reason, i was getting sick of changing gears, being faster over the 1/4 was just a added bonus..

Yeah its good. The thing that annoyed me the most was all the noise on gearchanges just to catch up with traffic. It sounded like I was trying really hard to keep up but I was only going half throttle.

Now my car is nearly silent. Apart from the tyres screeching.

Ill try stalling it up today to see if i can build boost on the stock stall converter.

What is soft?

Couldnt get on boost in first gear before the tyres started spinning first. Didnt try stalling it up in second though which I hear works alright but is a bit harsher on the box when you jam it into first for a good take off.

It goes good though, its way quicker than before. You dont lose momentum on the gear change into 2nd so the skating is more efficient.

I beat a V6 VS P plater and a hyundai coupe so you know its good.
