193.8rwkw at 5psi.

It needs more boost but its a good start. The stock intake pipe sucked 20rwkw out of the power figure so Ill get something better made up.

Video of dyno run.

+1 mate

That whines nicely

Im not that knowledgeable on the whole thing, but what will you need to do to get more boost? smaller pulley to get the thing spinning quicker?

Yeah I need a smaller pulley. The stock intake is rubbish as well. That 193 was with it removed. It made 173ish with it fitted.

The next thing will be a 3 inch intake pipe and a pod filter under the guard for fresh air. Then when I get bored Ill change pullies and go for a retune.

I want to let the bank account rest for a little while though and I have been looking forward to not working on the car. :P

Yeah that all sounds good mate.

Are you worried about it looking stock? because you might be able to run the 3 inch pipe through the whole airbox and under the where you intend to have the pod.

Nah not really worried about it looking stock but thats a good idea. I might do that. The airbox and a black 3 inch intake pipe would look pretty good.

Im not meaning putting the pod in the airbox. just having the pipe pass through the whole airbox for looks.

Just making sure, as im not sure if i was clear in my last post.

Cheers

Yeah, you were clear. Similar to what DCstraight has done with his cooler piping.

Nice work Dan :D...nice figures and a nice whine...if only I have the money I would try something similar.

Also with the intake, you could try something similar like mine? 3" stainless steel piping from stock intake box to TB with a silicone hose to connect to the TB of course. One whole piece.

I had a bit of clearance issues at first, but after cutting down one of the mounting points for the stock intake I cleared the bonnet. You might be able to squeeze it into place since your TB to supercharger seems to be about the same height as a BBM.

Nah dont have a driveby vid.

Ill hold off on the intake until I get a smaller pulley. We are thinking that the stock T/B might be a restriction as the lightning T/B is twin 57mm. When Geoff had this kit on his ED with the stock lightning t/b it was making more boost.

If it can make 8-9 psi with the standard t/b Ill leave it but if it cant Ill change to a bigger t/b which means a different intake. The throttle body will likely end up facing forward and I would have to use an earlier throttle cable. I'd like to keep the standard stuff if possible.

Yeah all good.

I havent had any issues at all.

Geoff is sending out the intake off his old ED and Ill put that on to see if it makes a difference to boost levels. He still thinks I should be making around 7 or 8psi and Im only getting 5.

Once the throttle body is sorted Ill put a proper intake pipe on it.

Ive got a smaller pulley to go on as well which should raise the boost 2 or so psi so hopefully it can run 9 or 10 psi all up once its sorted.

That should give me around 220 - 230rwkw which should be fun.

Other than that I dont plan to do anything to it and its back to saving up a house deposit. :(
