well!!!!!!!!
its a runner!!!!!! sooooo everything was fine sept the exiter wire of the starter motor wasn't doing antyhing that was the problem, thanks to charlie an his dad it now runs, soo it looks like i might be able to make it to the drags!!!! thanks allll dan (build will be contuing, an will have a proper write up for it what i have done an what still has to be done) thankis again dan

hey all thought i should let you kno
i got to the drags  that itself is a big acheavemtn seeing as i had 20 days to get everything done an i only got to test drive it yesterdayi ran a 16.8 1/4 mile the catch is, i only could rev out to 3500 because the limiter would cut in, so id pretty much miss second an go straight to 3rd... but hay i got the build done : ) how ever still not finished

i dunno its soo s**t, if i turn my car offf then straight back on, which i was doing at the drags 1st gear i got rev to 5000 then i go to second an the limiter was back on :/ so i had to go 3rd an change at 3500 then 4th 3500 :/
if anyone could give me any idea's what could be making it cut in, that would be awesome an my speedo not working :/??? thanks dan

ahh LHM (limp home mode) your using an auto ECU with manual box?
cant remember if your running manual or not but thats a dead sign of LHM |

yeah my brother was talking about the limp home mode??
but it does the igsact same thing with the manual ecu, an the auto ecu. i was changing them an the sma ehting kept happening, an itds not the ecu because my brothers ef ran fine with both the ecu :/ thanks dan

something on your car is tripping the ECU into LPH, its not a fault with the ECU itself. was the EF loom from a manual EF?

oooo btw fordmoders that still following i've fixed the rev limiter problem it was just a faulty speedo cable which was the problem  but yes it now revs an feels great can wait to go drags an see what it can really run

hey all just an update
the ea is running pretty good needs a tune an a few little things here an there im looking at getting a cam in the very near future either the 977b wade or the 1673 forget which one i can get another things, i raced my mate (rolling 50km's) he owns an ef xr6 5 speed an it was pretty close in second but 3th an 4th i was pulling away so looks like it has a little potential anyways im looking at buying an eb series 2 an aa month or 2 an doing this whole project again but not rushing to get it done an doing everything 100% right.... cheers dan

Cam and head work this little b**ch will fly. What diff ratio are you running. |

um im runing 323 lsd how ever is more likeevery now an again limited slip diff :/ for the eb sereis 2 i have tracked down a 345.1 lsd for it but will be running the same motor but i might run an ef 5 speed beacause the ea box had got a different ratio to an ef ? does it not... correct me if i m wrong thanks cheers dan

hey all thought i better put a link up of the ea at the drags.... im the one in the fare left lane.... my brother (megalo7) in right lane with his ef 5 speed...
remeber i only had 1 gear no 2nd (cause of limiter) but had 3 an 4 anyways looking to go again with in a couple months an will put a few more up then  cheers dan
