havnt updated my build in a while due to not being able to upload photos for some reason :S well since i posted the pictures ive installed:
a set of high tech extractors. which i sanded back and fitted my self.
a ba air box with a pod filter in side.
a set of 18inch dark agent rims
a wade 1673 cam
alpine 6inch speakers in the front, kenwood 3 way 6x9's in the back, kicker amp with a kicker 12inch sub.
and after these mods ended up screwing the motor and having to go off and but another motor, which i bought an au XR6 motor paid $550 for it and is at the workshop getting the original motor pulled out as im typing this.
will post pics soon.

well got the au motor in to my el xr6 afew weeks ago and noticed yesterday that the water was abit low.topped her back up.had a look again to day about 3 liters was gone again.checked the exhuast abit of water coming out.cant be condensation drove it into the city and back.could i have another fkd head gasket?the prime reason i p****d off the old motor was because of the head gasket and put this one in now because apparantly the head gaskets are stronger and it looks like i might be in the same spot.any one no much about this problem?

Could be a blown head. Check your dip stick for water in the oil. And check the side of the block to see if there's coolant running down it

If not then check for coolant leaks .
If it's leaking that much it should be on the ground . Unless it's the head and is leaking into the motor .which it most likely is.

My head is leaking .luckily on the outside.I'm changing the head gasket next week .

Could be a leaking heater core.
Check under the dash for water leaking onto the carpet.

Did you check both sides of the block ??

If you did and u didn't see any signs of coolant leaking . And you said the oil isn't milky .
It must be the cooling system. Heater hoses, heater core, radiator etc

You said it was leaking 3L a day ? Thats a lot of coolant has to be going some where .

U have a leaking heater core . Or could be blocked .
Does your heater work ??
If not it's blocked .
If it's blocked take the heater hoses off. They are in the engine bay under the bbm on the firewall.
A C*** to take off.
Once their off stick a garden hose in there, flush it out good.

If it's not blocked and just leaking you have the fun job of removing the dash and heater box. While your at it add climate control.

I've been their done that . So Can help you out .
I'd say the heater core has rusted a hole.

It shoudnt leak as long as the Heater is off. Cos the heater tap will be closed stopping the flow of water

Just read the previous post u said it's moist when the heater is on. It's definatly the heater core leaking . As I said before . Don't use the heater and it won't leak .

U will need to rip out the dash and possibly the heater box .
No to bad of a job just awkward getting the dash in and out .
