can any one explain how to tighten the hand brake in the el?

Pretty sure there's an adjusting nut on the handbrake . You might have to remove the seat .
You can tighten it up from underneath the car also . Take the rear hub off and check the brake shoes. They could be worn .

i took the rear hub off how do i adjust it from there mate?

man, seriously pay 40 bucks and buy an ef/el manual.. tells you everything you need to know and you can pick it up from supercheap..

Follow the cable there will be an adjusting nut or something some where . Either inside the car or underneath .
A workshop manual is always handy lol

Yer the workshop manuals arent very helpful. They just cover basic s**t . And don't go into deep detail.
What you want is the mechanics manual that ford use , it's like 400 pages lol I think there was a download on this site for one ??

It says it doesn't cover gearbox or rear axle . I wonder if they have el ?
