Dave, that would have to be the simplest and easiest V8 conversion I've ever seen. 5L dropped straight onto the 6cyl K frame with the NL mounts I gave you, ECU is irrelevant with the dizzy and straight gas you're running and everything else (including the T5 when you get one) is a factory part or aftermarket bolt-on. You don't get much more straightforward than that.
Now I see why you're keen on those body mods and the AU IRS, you needed a challenge

Now I see why you're keen on those body mods and the AU IRS, you needed a challenge Too right Sam , well they day has been called off due to rain ! also the 6cly tailshaft bolted straight up before Jase took the diff out , need'd to check it to see if it really fits Mick Tssk tssk on not getting number before you left , and i could have told you that you wouldnt find any 5L gear in the yard

got my dads NU Fairlane here so i can check out the IRS measurements and other things i would need
EL as it stands ATM under shot of the 5L fitted to 4L K frame

we did clean out the engine bay of leaves and also degreased the engine and the bay aswell before fitting it in

So during the week i should have the gas system out and hopefully installed into it , fuel tank and fuel lines will be removed and the wiring hooked up for oil and temp senders
