Good to see the Lane's bits going to good use.

And I like your outdoor office; Beam and coke, laptop and all

Don't be fooled by the laptop Sam, it's just there so he can watch NCIS while he's working away :P

Didn't think it would serve a useful function in that context. :P
Still like that "office" though, looks more fun than mine. 8-)

Silly me left home without getting your number
Picked up the head from Troy's at about 10 and then went for a cruise over to pick'n'payless to see if I could pick up a radiator.....no Joy but, they don't have any 5.0 E series in the yard :x So I went home instesd and spent the afternoon test driving for a new work car instead.

Dave, that would have to be the simplest and easiest V8 conversion I've ever seen. 5L dropped straight onto the 6cyl K frame with the NL mounts I gave you, ECU is irrelevant with the dizzy and straight gas you're running and everything else (including the T5 when you get one) is a factory part or aftermarket bolt-on. You don't get much more straightforward than that.

Now I see why you're keen on those body mods and the AU IRS, you needed a challenge :P

Too right Sam , well they day has been called off due to rain !
also the 6cly tailshaft bolted straight up before Jase took the diff out , need'd to check it to see if it really fits :P

Mick Tssk tssk on not getting number before you left , and i could have told you that you wouldnt find any 5L gear in the yard

Nice work Dave.

But, Ahhh, couldn't you have cleaned all the leaves and crap out of it first? Or is it undercover, as per it's heritage.
