Starting out with a Std EL Futura many many years ago , most of you guys have seen this around the traps , IE - EL XR front end convo , 5 speed convo , Boot install , Custom Tailamps
OK now the car has been off the rd for a few years now while ive been sorcing out bits n peice's for a ground up rebuild .    BA Rear bar skirt mod .  Finally got started on the bonnet today ,    while doing some panel work on the car im also building a worked 5Ltr for it . motor is a bare block at the moment but it will not be EFI as it going to be running on Dedicated LPG  , still retaing the 5speed and hopefully fitting the rearend out with a 3.45 IRS from a AU XR/Fairmont .

What exactly did you do to the bonnet?
did u have to trim the sides for it to come close to the standard width of the EF bonnet? should just put a complete BA front on it

i had cut the skin off the BA bonnet and have it sitting on top of the EF bonnet atm , going to cut off the EF skin and weld in the blue skin . after that the inner frame work is getting cut and the BA framework going in to so that the bonnet dosent wobble .
update on parts : Aquired a 3.45 lsd IRS and also a damaged EL XR upper bar section .

the grey is now ready to recieve the 5ltr and gear box
just about to pull motor from the LTD and turn around , change mounts and slide it into the grey . remove the gas system from ltd and fit it up to the grrey and get it running . approx 2 weeks if things go well this weekend
