That's awesome man, coming along very nicely!

Where did you source that adaptor that fits in the end of the fuel rail? That is bloody genius haha

Thanks mate, slowly getting there. Little bits and pieces that stump us along the way.

Well with the rail adapter my old man went to get some fittings for the rising reg and then the guy at the shop sent him across to a tuner next door. Explained the situation and the tuner recommend running that to replace the standard fuel reg. He does this with the skylines he builds.

Really neat way of doing it, means all the fuel is controlled at the rising rate reg and you don't need to feed the normal fuel reg.

The plan so far is to have it done in about a months time. The unpredictable weather makes it hard to work on the car and little bits and pieces keep delaying things.

Basically just need to put the oil feed line in, put the manifold on, mount the turbo, catch can, vac line and get the exhaust parts welded up. Then last but not least the tune on the j3 chip.

imo, with a turbo set up i would try stay away from long electrode spark plugs as they only promote detonation.
i use ngk bp6ey plugs gapped between .7 and .8mm,

Cheers Troyman :) When I bought them I asked for xr6 plugs, not turbo ones

The gap was 1.0 on all of them, so I will pull them back out and re-gap them to .7 - .8

Cheers Luc,

Everything is coming together nicely, taking us a lot more time than initially thought. Although rather come across a potential problem before it goes onto the car.
I'm sure you will love the new extractors, they give the car a bit more life and create a better exhaust sound :D

Hey guys been thinking and need a bit of advice...

At the moment I have the rising rate regulator in but it's not a well known brand or anything. Would you suggest that this is still suitable to run or should I opt for something like the Turbosmart FPR 800 ??

Cheers

Hey Paul just the man I was after :D

Yeah the fuel regulator, it's all install but just wasn't sure if it was going to hold up. Did you ever get to use it ?

It was never used, brand new. I know of others using that unit and they have found it ok, mind you it was NA only.
