So are you going to turbo this ?

Thanks mate, got a huge back log of pictures from work that has been done to the car.

Been getting bored with the car lately and decided now that I have more money coming in it is time to turbo 8-)

Oh it has certainly been doing my head in, always thinking of different things to do with it.
It will be my first turbo conversion so should be interesting.
I bought one of those kits off ebay and it arrived just yesterday, so I will have to put some pictures up 8-)
Nothing too high end, I'm chasing 180rwkw and it's making 137rwkw at the moment.

Nice car man this with boost will make 180rw with like 6 psi go with a nice quick spooling turbo t04e. Will see full boost at like 2500 and prob make 200 rwkw at just over 4000 with not much boost

Was it from Tasmania ?

They look good for a basic kit .

What did it come with ? Manifold , dump pipe , turbo , oil lines ??

Spot on !

Yep came with manifold, turbo, waste gate, dump pipe, screamer pipe, oil lines, all unnecessary gaskets and bolts, air filter and I opted for the compression pipe to TB ( I will most likely run an intercooler down the track).

Didn't want to go crazy on all the parts so this seemed like the best kit to go for to start a turbo project.

What fuel system and tuning u going with?
Being in Vic you can easily get a j3 chip and tune

For the fuel side of things I will be using:
Walbro 255 pump
Rising rate fuel regulator
29lb Injectors

You are right about the tune too, I have a j3 at the moment cause I had it dyno'd by CVE before for the cam that was put in.
So I'll stick with the j3 and just have it re-tuned 8-)

Once I had the cam and all that installed it was running bloody rich and the revs were up and down.
Decided to go see Paul at CVE and get a tune with a J3 chip.

After 10 runs this is what it come out with...

I was surprised with 137rwkw, thought it would make more. However once I took it for a drive it felt so much stronger ! Very pleased with 8-)

Nice work dude, seems like a good power figure considering the cam was only pretty mild from memory. As long as it goes a lot better, that's the main thing 8-). Should go a whole heap better once it's boosted :P

Cheers man, yeah you are spot on it was only a mild cam so it does it's job quite well.
It will certainly spice this car up with a some boost, give it a new lease on life.
