Guys,

Need your help atm.

So I'm deciding which rims to get, and these came along..

They are Ford Territory Rims.

First question, do you think they will look good on my car?

Second Question
Would they fit on my car, and how much trouble would it be to get them on the car?
Details..

Okay guys, have an update!

Tomorrow (Monday) the rims shown above are being fitted to my car, with tyres.

Decided to get Pirelli Pzero Nero - 245/40/18's.

Will post pics when it's done!

sorry we didn't reply. Should look ok aye...will be interested seeing them on the car.

I've never seem them on a car before, but I think they'll look better than the g6e rims that you were originally planning on

Haha all good! It was short notice and what not, so it didn't matter too much!

Yeah until I got them I never had seen them in actual life haha

and I agree, I think they look much better than the G6e rims, they felt sorta too standard if that makes sense.

oooo, I'm undecided so far, but I think I'll just stick to stock standard height. Not sure I wanna lower it and be scraping around everywhere - the speed humps in my street are like double the height of normal sized speed humps

oh......um. Please do do something :) Friend of mine has a FG MKII G6E-T and the standard ride height looks awesome. If you see one sometime perhaps check it out.... ? Even if its only a little bit:) ....but the 18" rims will help, yeah?

I know what you mean about the g6e rims, they've never really taken my liking, but perhaps that's because i'm a 17 year old male   ...Sporty wheels always make your car go 15-20% faster!!! hahahaha....

Ive been thinking about car mods lately and I reckon a car modded with a personal touch always stands out better than a base car modded to look like something else. I seriously think there is no point buying an xt and then adding a body kit just to make it look like an XR6! (how boring!)....all the FPV kit is even worse in my opinion especially when theres only a stocky barra 195 under it - then i loose all respect for the car! (A sheep in wolfs clothing  ) Im not saying anything against the barra 195, but really most of those FPV are meant to have some seriously grunty V8's under em!
....... So please don't try just make this look like a G6E, make it a personally modded XT.

I've been looking on Carsales recently and some of the modded BA XT's look neat. For example they put aftermarket (bigish) rims, clear taillights, lower it, maybe mod the grill, carefully and creatively place some LED's and she looks neat az and not over complex.

Enough ramble...
Cheers
Drew

Haha, don't worry, now that I have these new rims, I'm definitely considering lowering it, not too much, but enough so that it looks nicely done.

Haha, the 19" G6E rims look sporty, the 18", not so much, but yeah I getcha, I'm 18 and thinking the same thing haha

I completely agree. Adding mods to your car is about personalising your car to how you want it looking. I'm going to make it look like a G6E, but not too much, if you know what I mean?
For example, I think I might keep my XT grille, because I have grown to like it. And with the rear garnish, I'm going to use an XR6 garnish instead of a G6E garnish - so basically, mixing and matching parts to how I'd like it to look (real modding :P)

And yes, I've seen way too many XT's which have body kits to make them look like a FPV... so terrible. I saw one that had an FPV body kit, and had been repainted black and red.. HORRIBLE.

How do you like them?

Can you please take some side on photos? Cant really see them at that angle. If you can get a clean flat side shot I will have a go at lowering it on a photo editor.

excellent! One of my friends do actually have a 2012/13 territory with these wheels, however I think they might be 17 inches'.

LOL, why does everyone keep saying that!?!

My friends keep calling my car a truck or a boat because it's so damn high now lol!

Okay, I'll try take another photo when the weather gets better, right now it's storming and windy, can't have the car out haha

And yeah, one of my friends (a chick) never usually complements my car, but as soon as I got those tail lights she completely went of her nut haha

Looking good!! I actually really like those Territory wheels, they suit the car very nicely.

It's good to see some more FGs getting around, I'm still trying to work out what I want to do to mine at the moment.

Anyway keep us updated and keep up the good work!
