An AU Fairlane with the same territory rims? Hrrm, that would actually look pretty good!

My dad might be getting a new Ford Territory as his company car - if it's a TS it will have the same rims as my Falcon bahaha :|

Would it be a diesel V6?

Territory- An Australian car built for Australian conditions. One of the best SUV in Australia!
Had a ride in one a while back at a Ford dealership (courtesy taxi thing), was good as! Fitted 3 Adults along the back nicely.

Yeah it's going to be the diesel V6! (the craptiva is a 4 cylinder diesel) so it's going to be an improvement!

Hey Drew!

Pretty good thanks! Actually have it a nice wash today haha. Haven't really done anything to it recently - been strapped for time & cash. Still looking at upgrading the suspension.

Called a local place, who quoted me $600 to cut the springs (which effects ride comfort - kinda worries me) or to upgrade the springs - $2000.

Another one of my friends said getting the stock XR6 suspension fitted to my car would do the job?

Also still planning to get the towbar removed at next service (this month/early next month) - I've tried doing it and have failed multiple times.

$2000 TO UPGRADE THE SPINGS! tell them they are f*cking dreaming, and you can get a full coil over package fitted for that kind of cash. Springs will cost you $250, which you can fit at home in an afternoon.

LOL, when they told me I basically just went silent over the phone and was like "okaaay then"

$250 for which springs? and lol I have no idea how to fit them - although I could watch an MCM video haha

Fitting is fairly straight forward. Front requires the shock to be removed, which is a pain unfortunately. Rear can be done in an hour. My advice, if you're going to do springs, do the shocks also. I only did springs, and it's not as good as it should be. FORDAUTE did both springs and shocks, and his sits a lot better.
$735 for any choice in height King springs, and Monroe GT Sport shocks.

or

$235 + $15 postage for just the springs (search through that ebay seller, they have all the height options in their listings).

That's not too bad for springs and shocks. They seem pretty good quality too.

Yeah if I do the springs I will upgrade the shocks too definitely - my mate at work said you're better off doing it too, and now that you've confirmed it, I'll do that.

Just gotta find the money and time to do it all

HAHA, that's exactly what I did when I had the standard rims and wanted something bigger

Btw, side question. Would any of you know how to remove the cross bars/roof racks on an '11 Mondeo?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if any of you know/can recommend some white interior bulb lights (for the interior dome lamp and the front reading lights) for my FG.

I've found this:

Dome lamp?

and these:

Front Reading Lamps?

Also looking at getting these:

Number Plate Lights

Also, I have purchased myself some scuff plates for my car. Should arrive shortly!

I've changed all my interior lights to LEDs, was super easy and looks great I reckon. I'm not sure if yours has the same light setup as mine, but basically I've got 2 sets of lights, one at the front and one in the middle, that act as the dome & reading lights. They were all just standard T10 globes which can be replaced with T10 LEDs. The rear footwell light was one of those festoon ones, but everything else (incl. number plate lights) are T10s. I just bought a pack of 10 off eBay for a few bucks and did it that way. I'll take some pics for you tonight if you like?

:) Jesse
