What heat shield do you have on those headers? It looks way tidy.

Hybrid engine has AU cam + Rocker assembly.

I used a EF Tickford head so the AU cam/rocker assembly opened everything at the wrong times.

Bummer!! Will you be getting another e-series cam reground for it in the future? I would imagine it would suck knowing you have the bottom end redone, ported head up top and still using a stock XR cam. A decent cam profile would definitely give it a nice added kick :twisted:

Yeh mate, thats the plan. Need to sell on the AU cam to fund it :)

We've reached the end of the road, car pretty much sold, was a fun build :)

Now have a BA XR6 too play with.

hey mate i was just wondering how long ago this work was done cos im the new proud owner of this beast of a car well have been for a year n a half and just found alot of interest in the history of it lol what you building atm??

Hows the car going? Engine used to run real well! Most of the work was done 2010.

Currently playing with a XY Falcon :)
