Thanks dahayes
this is the first time we have done anything like this we have taken our time to get it right & to get the best advice & parts out there for the dollars we could scrap together. & for that we would like to thank all the guy's/gals on fordmods & Clarkracing "Maurice & Tim" in Launceston in Tassie & mates Anthony & john in Burnie Tassie & off course daughter inlaw Sally who didnt mind getting her hands dirty. But we not finished yet next Stealth intake-Holley street avenger 670 carb & holley fuel pump then a respray coz some scratches during the build. Actually I've had people say why, well heres my answer, I believe everyone should at least live one dream in their life time, I wanted my son to live he's while Im alive to see it devondevil Last edited by devondevil on Fri Apr 02, 2010 5:01 pm, edited 6 times in total. |

Gee, a lot of TLC and work went into this build. I wish I could do the same with one of my 3 boys but, I don't see them anymore.
I do hope that your Son has had as much fun building this as you have. Awe inspiring job you both have done, kudos to you both. |

Hi Papa Smurf
I feel your pain mate For I to lost contact with my son for he's early years through the ex but when he got old enought to think for himself he knocked on my door & we havent looked back since thats 15 or so years ago we'r great mates, be yourself & dont prejudge Except them for who they are let the be their own man & while your still breathing theres always always a chance mate if they come to you off their own free will you'll never lose them again we going to do something up for myself next I like the body shape off the EL/EF's, alot off Potential at moment I have a el 4ltr so might go v8 with typhoon front & rear BA bonnet or just drop in a Jim Mock 4ltr with the mods ( just thourghts at moment) plus need to save like crazy haharr. hang in there mate devondevil |

Hi facer01
We'r still running her in but its showing good Potential has grunt go's,hasnt had a pro-tune yet, still got some changes planed for her,we built it to race street/strip or sunday drive "for endurance" coz we could not afford to do this again but no regretts, just little things left to do. thanks for your comment it suits its name " Disturbed" devondevil |

Hi ashcook
My son brought the ute believing it was stroked, but it wasnt it was standard with a lot off cheap nasty s**t Internally & you only find that out by pulling it down, that p****d the son off to the max, I said ok lets do something about it lets do it the way it deserves to be done so we stripped it & sent parts all over Australia & imported parts, some of the Companies we delt with were frustrating to no end, there was periods of time when we couldnt do anything + there was times when we ran out off coin to continue,we was only going to spend a few "k" on ute but x by 5 or so. 12 months later here it is & if you stick to your plans you will one day be turning the key on your 351, no matter what it all takes time to get it right the first time & that in it self is a money saver. what stage are you at with your ute? dig in keep going its worth it devondevil |

My son tells me he has 5 "Disturbed" albums & thats where he got name from, there's no room on rear window coz thats where he has Disturbed, plus in this day & age using someone elses logo is asking to be sued for copy right. cheers devondevil |
