Does anyone know if a Ed dash assembly will fit into a EL body? As my dash was burned to a crisp before I got it, I'll want to replace it. I want a ED as they don't have airbags in them. Or is there a EL Dash that dosen't have airbags in the dash?

EF/EL GLi dash doesnt have the airbags. either do the futura.. unless optioned.
but yes the ED dash will still bolt in but a pain to get the electrics working with the cluster. stick to the loom type |

Ok the 418w block arrived this morning, so i'll be able to start assembly of it on the weekend. BTW, does anybody have a EA -> EL dash that they want to sell to me? Don't care about the wiring as it will be entirely stripped out.
Some more news, I'm getting my heads & intake manifold for the engine next week. The heads and manifold are CHI

Went to ronza's place yesterday and purchased a spoiler off him for $40. Very happy how it turned out on the car
![]() I also removed the dash out the car and started to remove the aircon stuff behind the dash ![]() Also got the car to run without the dash by putting the wiring back in.
