Went to go into town this morning to get a new ps pump. Thats when I noticed the battery light on.

Popped the bonnet to have a look that's when I noticed the belt was off and snapped the idler pulley off the tensioner bracket.

Lucky I have lots of spares got it all fixed this morning. Good old tinker time.

for the panelvan should i get flowmaster mufflers or hooker aerochambers?

heard great things about both, flowmasters are a few bob cheaper.

any experience would be awesome.

ill wait till the money goes into my paypal and make a choice.

really leaning towards the hookers, flicking thru youtube listening to 350's with flowmasters and aerochambers i must say the aerochambers sound heaps better.

cant really listen to 253's on there as there both yanky mufflers so i thought i would compare GMs most popular motor.

flowmasters sounded hollow where the aerochambers had a nice deep note to it.

I have a hooker in the system I made. They sound great, but are loud.

I have a 12" glasspack before it, really wishing I had got a longer one and mayber another stuck in the tailpipe (which I now have). I will get a better video of it in the morning as it sounds better now it has been on a few months, but here's one for now with 4480's on stock engine.

had a look under the au noticed the welds on the front of the redback muffler were all cracked, i could have just welded them shut but i had a pair of hooker mufflers.

so i decided to weld one in and it works well pretty well, sounds good

The car has picked up bucket loads of low down power, picks up the revs heaps faster.

As the stickers that come with the mufflers says

I love my hooker :p

gotta love when the car breaks the day before you go away, went over a cattle grid today an bang, the muffler snagged on it and stopped the car in its tracks.

snapped the cat off the extractors, bent the flange from the cat to the exhaust, caved in the front of the muffler, tail pipe moved back hit the diff dented the pipe, on the other side of the diff hit the exhaust hit the spare tyre well and put nice dent in the tyre well.

on the plus side it gave me something to do all day

Did the 1st service on the au for the year, 3 or 4 to go.

Ordered some new whiteline h/d sway bars to help with the handling some more, its gonna be a rough ride as I'm out woop woop and our roads are not to smooth.

Do I need to change the sway bar bushes to ones with a bigger hole or do standard ones work fine?
