Picked up a Powerbond Street Harmonic balancer today, went to pick it up on Monday only to find the wrong one was sent to REPCO, lucky I knew the part number and saw the box was a OEM, not the street one.

The EMS coil igniters arrived also, only stuff I'm now waiting on, is engine loom and throttle linkage stuff.

Yeah, whilst the LS1' might have been easier, it has worked out a lot cheaper to go this way, and once I have fab'ed a bracket for them, they should look a lot neater than the LS1's.

BA engine loom turned up today, so I can get stuck into getting the EMS6860 wired, going to make new looms for the injectors and coils, but needed the plugs from the BA loom.
Image

Also my new TIG turned up today, got a bottle from BOC on the way home, so will probably spend the weekend making alloy stuff, instead of finished the head porting as I should...

hey, little pointer but any ef gli that comes with the cruise control has the floor looms for the power windows. unscrew the two screws about the cup holder and then pull away and see if there is a long white plug there, if there is, you have the floor loom for all four power windows

i been looking around the wreckers for a while and havent come across any glis with the power window loom yet, the futura loom is different to the fairmont loom too, futuras have no wiring to the back doors, the 4 door looms need to be changed too, but i guess u could those extra wires in. best off looking for a complete floor loom for a fairmont, and grab the door looms while u are there. dont get fairlane ones as they are different, unless u are putting in the fairlane floor loom.

huh? cause if a gli has cruise its meant to have the front power window looms, if its a futura, its meant to have the front power windows installed as factory BUT as of the AU's, ford started putting the wiring down for the back power, just that you need the new drivers side door loom, rear two actuators for the windows, door trims and door looms. I looked in one of my mates EF1 GLi with cruise and ABS and it does have the wiring there, you just need the power window accesories for the front two. although, XRFairmont67, i would trust you on this one
