it'd easy be 800 for front and rear springs and short shaft shocks. but it still won't be as low as that BF Ghia

hey mate, just remember though going really low is just asking for you to rip off part of your front bar, especially coz its glass now. I am so careful driving around now, i remember when i lowered mine i wanted it to be further but im glad it isnt now. Its already hard enough to get up on the ramps at my mechanic. we need to trolley jack the front and rear so we can slide in some pieces of rubber so the lift doesnt crush my side skirts and my car is by no means that low. Same issue with the wheel alignment machine, my front bar actually scrapes going up and down it. I am not fussed if the bottom gets scratched but with glass its not just "oh it scratched" its "oh its scratched and fuk its cracked!". It gives me shivers thinking back to when it went up the first time with the kit, luckily i was there because anymore than an idle speed crawl and it woulda whacked the bar hard and possibly cracked it :-(

yeah very good point, my mechanics lift has those bars that go underneath to lift it, not ramps
wheel alignment machine of course is different
im probably not gunna go real low anymore, probably only as low as ghiaa's car at the lowest

My car may not look that low, but i have trouble getting it on hoist and getting a wheel alignment, so just keep that in mind.

i dont think they would!!my mech said they had a evo 9 in that was so dumped they had to remove the front bar to use the lifts. yeah the 2 post lifts i think they are called have the arms, they are the best as you can just drive on and swing the arms in so that it clears the side skirt and then screw the foot up so it touches the car to lift it. My mech got one of them but thats used when they do services, for new tyres they use the other ramp lifts which we have to d**k around with mine on to get on. The owner is my neighbour so im sure i can tell him i want to use the other lift lol, but yeah alighnment machine is still an issue.

How long is your car Gihaa?
