Good start there matey.
Just a few tips if I may? The EF/EL mirrors look bloody great on EA/EB/ED.

EF- EL mirror to EA- EB- ED.doc

Adding Thermo fans out of an EF/EL would be a good move documents.php?d=97
Cruise control would be best from an EF/EL but requires some work.

This thread will help immensely as well. the-garage-f53/benj-s-eb-t5-ghia-wagon-t71774.html
It is BenJ's build thread and is a classic, he has an ED Wagon.
The Doc of how to fit the Mirrors was put together by BenJ as well.

Good hunting :D

Actually BenJ's is an EB1 Ghia Wagon  not an ED Wagon

Hi cottom, and welcome to Fordmods.

Nothing quite like a modded Boxcar Wagon.

All your mods sound good, but I would suggest you consider what sort of Heavy Duty Clutch you purchase. If the clutch pedal is too heavy it can result in a number of issues ranging from snapped clutch cables and clevis pins, to twisted, cracked and torn firewalls and pedal boxes.

Your car being an EA will have a 3 bolt clutch, so you will have to find out what is available.

LSD diffs are hard to come by for a station wagon, but look at XG and XH utes as well. Early Ghia Wagons like mine had the 3.27 LSD from factory, so keep an eye out for them too.

When going to the 4L, go as new as possible, either EL or AU and change to the BBM manifold and serpentine belt setups when you do.

As mentioned above, I have done a lot of work on my EB1 Ghia Wagon, and hopefully you will find a few helpful ideas.

Cheers
BenJ

I prefer to use photobucket and then link the pics.

It is free, and easy to use.

Cheers
