no, even the manifold ports are the same, i was kind of supprised myself,
when i removed the manifold of my ed, the manifold ports were the same as the manifold off my ea!...............
i have sice thrown out 5 or more ea/ed log manifolds and they all had the same size ports..39mm
compared to the bbm 41mm ports

the ea one i had had 2mm smaller ports then the Eb/d one maybe just a good molding and it made a difference in power and q/mile times too

yea ea-ed redline is at 5000rpm but the physical limit is 5400rpm and in ef-au the redline is 5500rpm but the physical limit is 5750rpm..

std there is not much to gain by reving it to the limit but once an aftermarket cam is fitted the std limiter is hit fairly easy...

with a wade 1645 cam, my au engine produces power to aprox 6000 rpm...

Even tho the redline isn't much higher, the AU bottom end is smoother isn't it? All the Au's i have driven had spun smoother than my EB, even highish mileage versions, ie 250-300k.

Cheers

well the auto in my EB in power mode always shifts at 4900rpm. so the EA will do that. 4900 will do till i get a chip

Nice book. You need to get paperwork from SVO or ford to say that your VIN number falcon is a SVO tho....
