Get 60lb injectors if buying new. I only got 42's because I was going to leave it supercharged. When I do my internals Ill need to go bigger. 42's are only good for 330ish. |

i understand how turbo's work it's just the nitty gritty like what pump, injectors etc i need. i've decided i wanna run 10psi on an unopened motor. so 60lb injectors you reckon dansedgli?

{USERNAME} wrote: god this s**t confuses me to a point. What's so confusing about it man? Rising rate fuel regs are simple. 1:1 ratio does this.... For every 1psi of boost, it will increase the fuel pressure by 1psi. A 2:1 ratio will increase fuel pressure by 2psi for every 1psi of boost it see's. So a 2:1 reg that see's 10psi boost will increase fuel pressure by 20psi. The lb rate of the injectors is their fuel delivery rate. The higher the lb rate, the more fuel it will flow at it's given fuel pressure. Increase the fuel pressure & they will flow more fuel up to a point. You need more fuel to feed more Hp/KW. The fuel pump shouldn't be that hard man, just need to decide if you want in-tank like stock or setup a swirl pot & run an inline. In tank is easier, but has limitations. I need to get my hands on some 32lb or a tad bigger injectors for my mighty boy project... Cheers ToranaGuy

i dunno what pressure the injectors will have to be at, at 10psi. i want a intake fuel pump. so it looks stock

When you check injector specs it will say what pressure it works good at, you then set your fuel pressure for that base pressure, and when on boost the rising rate reg steps up the pressure as the boost rises. some BA injectors will be fine for 10psi.

Not without 4 billion psi in the rail.
Here's a tip. Dont spend any money on 2nd rate s**t that you will need to replace. Decide what power you want. Get the injectors to match. You can turn the fuel delivery down if they are too big but you can't turn it up if they are too small. |

This should have been shown at the AFD, if it could make it. Must have it ready for it next year, even if it's only running a stock engine, as long as it will get there & back again. Pics of the new seats? You could probably get the bolsters redone to look just like the real svo recaro's. Cheers ToranaGuy

i would tow it there but i believe the EB's auto would hate me for it and the SVO interior is in bits.
the leather in some parts needs to be replaced and the velour needs a good clean. but all in good time. hopefully it'll be at next years AFD. probably just running a standard AU motor with a T5

Cool man, yep all in good time. Even just running a stock AU engine & T5 would be enough to drive it there lol.
Cheers ToranaGuy
