When I was working up in Bendigo, everything was so close that the a/c didn't really get the car all that cold before you arrived at your destination. That was in my Eb Ghia, with thermo fans so the a/c works really well......so I sorta see the point in not having it, but I woulda been thinking with a project car it would be driven some long distances for events & cruises at times, which would make the a/c worthwhile?
I personally can't do without a/c these days. Anyway, nice progress dude. Keep at it. Can't wait to see it running again. Cheers ToranaGuy

Still need a drivebelt that fits, an airbox and water to check for leaks. But it does start and run quietly. I BELIEVE I CAN FLY! By Friday night it looked like this Then i spent Saturday morning running around getting bits and pieces. then had my thermos and alternator rewired professionally by a auto sparky mate. then by last night it looked like this

drove the SVO for the first time in 18 months on Wednesday night. Had to rush it home before the 7pm permit cut off.
Drove it to work yesterday. Reset the base idle. Got a roady list done. Now to just knock that over. Get it to the painters that one last time. Then pay for expensive rego. Fingers crossed it'll be done for cruise for charity Pics

That's pretty cool, Alpine unit & the surround. I've got to get around to fitting my new head unit & surround.
Any closer on the roady? Cheers ToranaGuy
