Nicely done with the seats.
Those seats were only available as an option on the EB Fairmont Ghia. My EB Fairmont Ghia Wagon came with them. They have darker leather than the EB11-ED seats, which I prefer. Keep up the good work. Cheers BenJ

i had a productive morning. picked up my rebuilt calipers. got upper trailing arm bushes and rear pads from Bursons. went into work and swapped tyres onto rims for my Valiant. replaced Watts link bushes and upper trailing arm bushes. then stopped passed Autobarn and got black paint for the arms and sand paper and extremely high temp paint for the extractors. it's getting there

Full leather were optional Fairmont Ghia. I've got the EB2/ED Full leather set in my daily drive, a set to go in my xr8 & a set like brenton's pics but the later color scheme, that I will probably fit to my mighty boy lol. Brenton - it's looking good mate, keep at it! Thought about fitting the EL diff cover with the different watts like bolt position? Next time I do my watts link bushes I plan to. Cheers ToranaGuy

hey are they superpro bushes ? i think thats a brand lol. how much are they as im looking at doing the back end in my el because its a bit crazy going around corners on the road you can feel the back end trailing around a bit, did you buty a whole back end kit or just the ones you needed? and they need to be pressed in right?
thanks

They are superpro, being blue. Price will vary between retailers, and Brenton would get trade price anyway.
Nolathane do a rear kit for these falcons, don't know if superpro do a kit for them. They do all the individual bushes. Old bushes need to be pressed out, and these usually but not always require a press to fit them. Cheers ToranaGuy

ok thanks,
i herd nolathane is s**t and your better off putting standard bushes in, i know my dad ran some in the back of his leaf sprung rodeo because the standard bushes were stuffed after 6 years of use, an 12 months later the nolothanes were rooted again, went back to standard bushes and havent had a problem since. i was reading on another thread here late at nite that super pro are really good and not to use any other, but i was on my phone and it wont let me log onto fmods so i couldnt comment and the thread has since dissapeared into thin air

There is technique involved with any poly bushes, if they are installed wrong, not greased up correctly or done up too tightly, it will fail quickly.
I have had nolathane in the front end of my EB Ghia for years, done about 250,000kms and only just now getting rooted..... As for better off with standard bushes? If you want your car to handle like standard sure(very sloppy compared to properly setup poly bushes), if you want more responsive handling, no way are you better with standard rubber bushes! Cheers ToranaGuy

Cheers ToranaGuy im not sure what my el has in the front but both my fairmonts had the orange poly bushes in the front and they never gave me trouble while i had them, is there a torque setting for them so when i install them i dont over tighten?
