Got this to the point where the engine bay is done (apart from piping).
And will be going to the auto shop this week for fitment of auto, cooler and full spool.

Update time. Car has been taken to the auto shop.
Auto now in
Full spool in the diff nearly done.
Intercooler and trans cooler will be mounted up soon.

IT RUNS. And moves under its own power.
Got it running very roughly, missing and pumping black smoke out. Checked leads, I had messed up and had three in the wrong spot (DERP). Backed fuel pressure back to 30psi at idle. And set both the TPS voltages. And now it'll run and idle away.

All it needs now is an exhaust, cooler pipe and tune. Nearly there.

it's been just over 3 weeks now and the piping has started to be made at the exhaust joint.

Hey WILDEB,
Love the build! That's come up so nicely.
I've also got an SVO but it's an NA Fairlane. Mine doesn't have the seats or the steering wheel, unfortunately :(
I'll hopefully track down some, oneday.
Might also try and find the spoiler too - Though I'd imagine there'd be some modifying involved.

If you have a stray $1000 there's a NA Fairlane SVO in Melbourne for sale on Gumtree. Has full blue velour interior with the Recaro seats. Only issue is the body of the car is riddled with rust.
