Well, I guess I was tempted for about a minute. Could have used some of the parts.

I rang the guy about it once. spoke on the phone for like 45minutes. asking heaps of questions. to him the rust was "easily repairable, slight surface rust on the rear arches"
drove 2 hours there through bum f**k nowhere and the thing was f**k. Holes in the rear arches, in the boot channel, around the fuel filler. it was f**k.

Oh s**t, that bad?? Yeah, stuff that.
Just saw an ad the other morning for a set of SVO wheels with tyres, all in good condition - $400. By late afternoon, they were sold. I considered this ad too as I hit a gutter one night and put a nice big dent in one of mine :/
Then again, I wouldn't mind rebarreling them on larger and wider barrels.

So after a few major issues the last few months of occasional driving

- Brand new oil feed line started to crack from heat
- Steering rack leak onto the dump pipe/screamer pipe
- Leak from side of auto trans
- surge tank fuel line popped off filling boot with fuel

They're now all fixed. I've put about 300kms worth of driving on the car.
It goes in for a tune next week. Wish me luck. Aiming for 300rwkw or just shy of
