AIT was a factory fitted turbo, AIT removed the cars from the production line, fitted the turbo systems and put them back on the production line to have the interiors fitted etc.

AVO was another turbo model but from different company, i believe was done after production.

and TSS is the twin screw supercharged EA. i have some pics of the TSS engine bay, ill upload in a few minutes

AIT had been building turbo falcon's since the Xd or so days. I know of a twin turbo Xf they had under development, but i don't think they ever released the kit / car.

When you consider they used to give v8's a hiding back then, it's a wonder when ford dropped the v8 they didn't opt for a turbo 6 as the performance engine, considering other's had done it & shown the huge potential of the turbo falcon 6. I wonder why it took ford so long to factory build a turbo falcon?

Cheers

They do look really good, and shiny! Did they have color coded handles? What about the mirrors, are they power or manual?

Cheers

all EA's got the rough black door handles. only the SVO had the smooth EB II style that were colour coded. 3 years before its time..

i love colour coded handles.
