For the past 2 days i have been having my air conditioner looked at to see why it was working and the diagnosis today was that the compressor, everapative core, compressor, and the receiver are all shot adn it will cost far to much to replace so tint will have to keep my car cool !

How much did you pay for parts?

Did you do it yourself or take it to a mechanic?

The first thing that happened was that the guy said he would put a dye and oil through it to see where the leak is, took it back next day, he said he cleaned a few things up and would put more dye in so he can get a better look. Then i took it up a few hours later he looked at it gave me a call and said if i didnt want to proceed he would give me a refund of what i had spent which at the time was $130 !

well i had no gas in my air con system to start with and before i took all this work on i had the mechanic do a regas with hychill hr12 gas which is lpg based with all the explosive material taken out which it can escape from the air con system and wont damage the atmosphere
