Yes...future mods
Thanks for the link. I've been looking around on the net for steering wheels. I found this Oz site... http://www.autotek.com.au/shop/steering-wheels.html The spoiler shop in Myaree is a momo dealer too. I also looked in Malz at some Autotechnica wheels which have some nice ones in the $300 range. I have to concentrate on the exhaust now anyway. I got underneath it yesterday to try to fix the broken hanger but the exhaust is actually bent(probably happened with the RHR bingle it had) and I've actually had to remove the tail pipe altogether before it melts the bumper. |

Repco sometimes sell momo wheels, but they are a bit more than $300.
The factory momo wheels are nice if you can get them in good nick. I have a non cruise one for one of my Xr8's, it's not perfect but it's far from worn out as well. When the time comes I will get it rebuilt. Until then I should get a few years use out of it. Cheers ToranaGuy

Geeze, Momo stuff is a lot cheaper than I remember it being when I just got my licence. I wish I could put one of them on my car...
I haven't forgotten about getting the G-tech to you either, just been flat out. I'll give you a call in the next day or two and I might be able to drop it off to you at work or something, as I'm off til the 20th.

No unbeatable ones. 2 tyres, a wheel alignment, paint is average, and its leaking water at the pump and oil from the sender.
It also needs two bolts on the water pump replaced (3.25 in ones - theyve both snapped and because previous owner needed to go interstate 24h later was put together without them being fixed...) Actually I think thats why theres a water leak. Oil leak is a $35 sender. Ive known the car for years. The guy loved it, and looked after it as well as he could until he got sick. If I respray the outside it will be worth $5k + Or I dont, and Im driving an XR8 for $1700 and Im not worried if it gets hurt . 180000k |

Yes, yes it is. I am a man with two V8's!. Marvelous.
The XF is going great guns. The CRS extractors arent aweful, and I wonder if the engine had some work done, or if because it was delivered for the police commissioner it had something er...spesh. Or I could be getting old, and fast seems faster... |

Except my missus would rather me be doing things other than working on cars. Are you an early riser? If so, and you're going to be home Saturday, I might come up before I head up to the new Streetbuilt workshop

Ha ha, well I don't care what my wife would rather I did. Yeah I'll likely be up by 7.00 as I am everyday.
What's a streetbuilt workshop? |

Myself, Jeff and another mate have leased ourselves a workshop for 12 months, primarily for somewhere to store all of our s**t that's overflowing out of our garages and work on our cars and our mates' cars. Got security system and hoist going in on Saturday. Our new man-cave!

That sounds good Chad. I'm contemplating making my shed bigger again, maybe taller so I can put in a hoist.

I wish I could have a shed at my house with a hoist. That's the ultimate goal. Looking to buy a block in Swan View of around 800-900 square metres. If I do, it will eventually have a nice, big shed with a hoist in it.

I dont have a big shed (7 * 8m), but I did make sure I got the slightly higher roof (2.9m) and higher pitch so I can put a 2 poster in, and lift a car up with about 1.8m under it.....
one day i'll afford the hoist... |
