Hey guys thought I would put a thread of my project that's only just started and is a show build due to $$$ constants.

I bought myself a ED shell which is a 94 Fairmont Ghia model, only cost me $250 and already had stuff removed for me, which is good has I wanted to get started on putting BA parts in and not with the ED I don't want.

Due to $$$ constraints this won't be a big build, so no turbo here, only NA....for now.

Here it is the day I got it home,

Will be learning and doing it all myself when I feel up to it, no rush to finish it asap, gives me reason to play in my shed.

Will update some more info later and more pics

Good luck with the build. We've done a DOHC in to a ED about 3ish years ago. Now we're putting one in an EL.

Makes such a massive improvement to the car!

Thanks learning how to do things I haven't done before so that why it's also a slow build, need to learn how to weld and paint and fiberglass, so taking my time to do it right the first time, also limited on funds..

Should have some more parts Wednesday or Thursday, back heater box, steering column and gear selector if all goes well.

FairmontXR6 is my cousin. It's his old EL Ghia I bought off him Just over 2 years ago.

That's the build thread for the car have not put much about the DOHC as yet just been lazy as I did a thread on Boostedfalcon.net with my old conversion in my EB Ghia in 2009. Will probably do a descent write up when its running in a week or 2.

Good work doing the project man brilliant upgrade these motors are engineering at its finest.
