That's actually pretty good for compressor hire. I wonder if I shouldn't consider that next summer, instead of taxing my poor little compressor or buying something bigger. I too only have 10amp power setup in my shed, and don't want to spend up to setup a 15amp setup.

Keep at it man, it's looking good!

Cheers

i was wondering if it was a reasonable price or not, its a 12CFM 50L+ said it would spray the car easily, thats exactly it this is really the only time ive needed a larger compressor so paying $600+ isnt really worth it then it sits there and gets used once a week to check tyres and clean dads lawn mowers and brush cutters.

cheers man tuesday there shall be colour :D

Cool, some progress and a plan :)

I guess that compressor rental works out better than buying a suitable one, plus you can get it done sooner.

Why'd you slide the bars back on?

I think the grill is looking good, from the photo anyway?

Yeah I noticed them. Looks like the Snowflakes are going to waste?

Speaking of which, how did those two tyres go holding air?

EDIT: By the way, I've got the Ghia centre caps for them.

Maybe give it a go while you have that rental compressor? It should make quick work of it.

By the way, the Ghia VCT engine is rated for 168Kw and the XR6 VCT is 172Kw. The only difference being a bigger exhaust on the XR.

Which is 4-8Kw above what you've already got now.

Maybe you need to drain the moisture trap a bit more often?

I personally wouldn't bother with all the f@rt around to get a vct setup in my EB Ghia, I'd just force some boost down it's throat to get some more power. I have to stop thinking about that, cause there is money to be spent in other area's first.

Cheers
