today i rolled the gaurds properly on the XF and the hotwires still scrubbed, the 2 tyres on the snow flakes held air over night so i swapped the wheels over it doesnt seem as bouncy as it was on 14's.

pictures little bit better then whats already posted.

so ive been hearing different cfm ratings to spray a car first it was 8cfm then 12cfm (the one i was going to hire) but now im told 12cfm will struggle and i need a 17cfm  so i had to make a decision fast as im starting to lose interest in the ED so tomorrow me and dad are picking up a 2.5hp belt driven compressor from repco as even after the cars done we still need a compressor. i will use the old one as a reserve tank wich should give about 70-80 odd litres of capacity, heres hoping next weeks weathers good.

also this is my unwanted guest in the XF was sitting there still so i got a photo as soon as i went to sqaush him he shot down under the dash so i sprayed this surface spray stuff (a tonne of it) and it didnt come out so hopefully its gone i dont want that bastard crawling on me when im driving  :P

look at the ugly little prick  i await its next appearance to sqaush it with my size 13 boot

after me and luke pulled the bonnet out to open it.

same here hunsmans are the ugliest pricks around. i eventually found it on the roof and slapped it with a piece of wood i was looking on the floor for it then seen it running up the wood so i dropped it looked down and it was on my leg  also when the coppers pulled up another one crawled out from under the boot lid so i walked over and kicked it off then sqaushed it into the road, the cop looked at me and said nice work. hopefully theres no more in it now.

i was speaking to my parents last night and basically there could be 2 scenarios depends on how she claims it. 1. is i pay her excess and were done or 2. her insurance chases me up for the money to pay for the repairs on her car :(

if scenario 2 occurs depending on the cost of her car i may have to sell/strip the ed :x i will keep you all posted with the out come hopefully its a pleasant one.

Good luck with insurance idiots matey. If the damage to the 4WD was so minor you should offer to just fix her 4WD yourself since you're okay with doing that kind of work!

It'll be fine Brad. It sounds like she's a reasonable person. Besides, it wasn't a bad accident or caused by stupid driving.

Wet roads, night time and no ABS leads to these things happening. Insurance companies know this, and you weren't tailgating or anything.

Anyway, look on the bright side, this weekend it'll have a new guard, bonnet, grill and lights and be good as new.

dad was saying before i should find out how much the cars is to fix and if it isnt to exspensive pay that instead of going through insurance. i will discuss it with her when she calls.

Good luck with it all mate. I take it you didn't even have third party on the XF?

Sucks to learn the hard way....

Do you not have any form of insurance on your car?
If you dont have at least 3rd party , Im sorry mate but you will get no sympathy from here.
No insurance means you shouldnt be on the road.
