yea i masked up the red strips on the moulds.

the colours called moody blue mica its a metallic blue
nah i didnt probably should of? i just sanded them and cleaned them very well with wax and grease remover. i do plan on some after market bumpers abit later on to go with the skirts.

Yeah, I did ask about the stuff and one of the painters did mention it's proper name - buggered if I can find it now.
Did find an old thread on the side moulds though - post1038118.html

EDIT: The name of that stuff is in the above thread.

slow progress yesterday my sister and neice came up havent seen them in a while so couldnt just rush out to the car but i did fit the side skirts. tonight i painted the inside top edge of the gaurds the mirrors and rear 1/4 window trims and put the fuel flap on. i only have about an hour once i get home from work of decent light then its all being done with a little torch :roll:

today with the help of lukey1990 we got more stuff back on the XR6, we got the door handles and windows back in. while lukey1990 removed the rear right latch to straighten it i put the headlights in and bolted the bumper and grill on. i also started putting the side moulds on.

i located the bonnet bolts they were in the car :P i cant find the screws to put the pillar trims back on ill have to dig around inside the car tomorrow and also for some odd reason i cant find the other numberplate :oops: last time i saw it it was on the bench (other was in the boot) so im hoping dad didnt think it was trash and chucked it.

car wont be getting buffed for about a month im getting a mate to do it hes a detailer. while it would be ideal to leave the trims handles etc off it needs to go back together so the old man stops cracking the s**t everyday :lol:
