not much progress today had to move a engine stand with a block out (both going to scrap stand is dangerous) to gain abit more room so i have somewhere to put the bonnet and front gaurds. While it was out of the shed i took some more photos and tried on a snow flake (im picking up a full set in the next week or so) and also tried to get a better photo of the colour.
with the snow flake colour also getting the springs out of this it sure is low apart from putting a snow flake on after helping lukey1990 get the interior out of the ltd in the pic above we came back and took the windows out of the drivers side doors and removed a few trims and rubber seals.

update: stripped the passenger side moulds, windows, door handles etc started sanding the rear left 1/4 right rear 1/4 where the dent was is done (will see dent in earlier photos in thread) just have to finish the wheel arch. so once all thats done i can sand it all down and prime it then paint engine bay and door jams then mask up and lay down the blue. so this isnt a boring update ill chuck up some pics.
i think its come up well got all the tape off the boot started rear left 1/4 panel mirrors that will be going on the car still some parts to get EL door handles and fuel flap, front bumper and a fairmont garnish.

update: i have started rolling the gaurds (it will be low) and its basically ready for primer ive taken the gaurds and bonnet off and will probably spray them off the car and fit them before i buff it but i have hit some set backs 1. my sander died (getting another tomorrow) and 2. passenger sill is screwed i was sanding it and it was like corn flakes now theres some big a** holes in it but i know of a fairmont at a wreckers that had skirts on it they are the ef el tickford style hopefully they are still there and i will grab them and put them on the car.
pics: took the gaurd off check out the pile of dirt after knocking the huge chunk out no front panels passenger side (have done more since this photo) got a stand for my gravity feed gun and the rust holes door open closed

alright i went to the wreckers today and he wouldnt seperate the side skirts on the ef from the kit but the left skirt was snapped in half and twisted. so i wondered around and found a au forte sedan with a set of good condition side skirts i pick them up with another front bumper tuesday (pay day) hopefully theres not to much modding to get them on. also primed the car and the bonnet ill be doing the gaurds tomorrow.
sanded back to smooth it all masked up and gone over with wax and grease remover and in primer coming along now.
