well today it rained so not to much progress was made. i got the boot lip sanded and ready for primer aswell as the fuel flap, started dismantling the door handles and have the grill nearly ready for primer. I also got the side skirts mounted up properly 4-5 clips along the bottom and 3 screws along the top of the sill inside the door jams wich will be painted so they wont be so noticeable.

door handle dismantled

side skirts on properly

also with a 7 inch wide rim with a 215 tyre having some clearance i decided to try a 8 inch rim with a 235 and its pretty tight

basically i need to sand both bumpers left gaurd and side skirts then paint the door jams engine bay and inside the boot make sure theres no little dents etc then paint the car.

Look's like the side wall might touch..?

The Snowflakes's tyres are 225 x2 and 215 x2 IIRC.

The door handles are fun aren't they, I remember taking mine out and apart to paint them, tedious.

side wall is mm from touching its very close lucky there isnt much suspension travel :P

225's should be ok 215 has quite abit of clearance.

door handles were easy to pull apart unclip the spring pull out the 2 clips and it basically falls apart.

Ah that's good.

Yeah I know, but they're very tedious when you have to do four and taking them in and out of the doors.

the colour looks awesome tomorrow im going to take the door out into the sun and ill get more photos. so i have 3 more doors left and the door jams on the car then ill put the doors back on i have to do inside the boot and under neath the boot lid then that can go back on. Spray the engine bay and under the bonnet in heat proof black then make sure theres no little dints and then paint the outside.
