i finished bogging up the rear bar and i got all the fog light covers fitted this arvo, i started sanding down so it should be ready for priming possible Friday of on the weekend, panels beaters are charging way to much considering i have done all the prep work and even suppling the paint and everything, they still want over 700 for it to be done, i have got a decent spray gun so i think i will just spray it myself, i helped dad spray his boat and that was fiber glass, do you reckon it will be that hard ?

I say have a go at it yourself. My very first proper paint job was my EB/XB bonnet, and it came up far better than I expected it to do.
As long as you don't expect a show quality paint finish, you should be happy with the results. If you spend the time doing the prep work, and make sure it is a straight/flat as you can get it, then even if you end up with a slight blemish, that only you will be able notice lol, you can still brag to your mates that you did the paint work. You will learn lots in the process. And it you do bugger it up, you can always sand it back and paint it again. Cheers BenJ

awesome lookin kit
get it painted! lol If you can give it a go yourself, do it. Its the best way to learn, just make sure you have patience and dont rush things, you'll be fine. And if anything goes "bad" like Ben said, just sand it and start again!

IDK if it means much, but my GT kit is a home job with a crap compressor and acrylic paint with clear over the top and it came out OK. Yours would come out sweet with all the attention to detail you'd put into it.

Out of curiosity, what paints/thinners are you using?
