Edited Update: Mass Cheers to BenJ, he is going to sell me his spare climate control gear and deliver it to my door and also take the time to quickly assist me in swapping the oil pressure sender over to the sensor before he heads off

Piccies are delayed until next week cause everyone knows what an ef looks like so next week will be only pics and a bit of detail of dash re-removal, climate control install, oil pressure sensor being installed and dash re-installation. Although something is bound to go wrong as per usual

Until next week......

Hey Tony.

I have done this conversion before, and we can discuss the details during the week.

Not sure if it will be Tuesday or Wednesday. Should know tomorrow arvo.

Cheers

Hey BenJ,
Well today i put the wires through along the factory location for the front ambient temp sensor, just have to wire it up to the climate control module wiring  but can you confirm its only two wires for it so that if there is a third one i can add it on tomorrow.

Cheers and also when you come up, feel abliged to park on my drive as my car will be parked up the top so that we can wack it away in the shade of the garage if we have to when the oil pressure s**t* gets swapped

*s**t - my shortened version of stuff

Last night i decided to do a bit of thinking. at some stage in the future, Buy an EA GL wagon and a written-off ef or el fairmont wagon and swap all interior accesories like dash, console, climate control, Engine, all looms, handles, carpet, seats, Literally everything (another racedirector except using EA, not an ED), flat fuel flap, and maybe even an EF or EL XR front with the fairmont bottom half. pretty much an EA with EF interior as i like Black, EL XR front with the fairmont bottom half

Tell us what you think! it may be an excellent idea

Tidy looking wagon you have there. I hope mine comes out something close to that.
Except mine will be faster, coz it's red! 8-)

I did use to have a Cardinal red ED, but because we had no use for it as it had the 6 seats and we only needed 5, it got traded in for this EF ad that was january 2002

I think mine is Cardinal, http://www.fordmods.com/the-garage-f53/sooty72-s-ef-futura-wagon-long-term-project-t90025.html not sure yet, will find out when i need to buy paint i suppose. :D
I dont think I'll worry about the climate control, trip meter, and that sort of stuff. The interior is nice enough, and it all works! 8-)
