Yeah, i know 'ey? the "boss" was very happy with the amount of work that i had completed in one day considering i had (and still have) the headache from the refridgerant.

I will be going down to get the replacement ignition, then starting it with that as soon as i break the old one away to unlock the steering column. Once thats done, the car will be re-gassed whenever possible, coolant leak fixed, new drivers side lock actuator installed.
Then i will have one true "Monti" car

Anyone know how to change the name of this build thread? I still havent figured it out

Well, THE CAR LIVES! climate control, trip comp and all other little things work  although the ignition is a little on the dodgy side (um, well put it this way, the column dont have no ignition whatsoever on it and the ignition has no guts so the only way to start it due to a dodgy ignition is to use a screwdriver 8-) ) so pics tomorrow once the sun decides to stay up (prayers for hope of sunlight tomorrow and no more f**k rain)

At Least the car lives so im happy and the "boss" is happy

Well here's a photochop of what it currently looks like without the 'GLi' bit under the FalconImage

Looks better in person. I have also removed all the black s**t that stays on the car (metho, rough rag and a fingernail will do the trick)

Not much has been done lately as the gods of the world decided they hate the central coast/sydney but i have had the chance to be able to get rid of the remaining badging "The Falcon part" and may i say with how i get the double sided tape off, it really works

Pics to come later

Update:

Got the car booked in for gas reconnection (cough, splutter and die the first few times as the gas is over 1 month old and then backfire the second with my luck)

The tailgate now only has the FORD badge on there and it is looking so much neater
