Bens lowering blocks are 2.5" inches.
Do I get a prize for guessing?

Had a thought today while reading a thread on here about the rear bucket seats and the Herrod Motorsport ones look f**k sick
That would be hell good especially for long trips

I can proudly announce the car is back on gas It did take 2 hours but at least its working! First time the gas has run in almost 8 weeks and it just switched straight over, no stalling, just revved it over 2000rpm and it worked. No backfiring and now a near empty gas tank couldnt tell wether it was full or empty as the earth for the guage is stuffed so at the moment the new switch says "FULL"
Will get around to fixing it soon enough That is all for now, pics of new switch in a little bit...

Hey BenJ,
Cheers for that but i still have to move the earth point as the earth that is connected to the guage on the tank itself is stuffed (actually mouldy?) hence sending a false signal. At least now i can prepare myself for the 3268km road trip knowing that i will have gas again Will upload pics once i get my laptop back due to me watching The I.T Crowd during PE

Well....... Since the EF has had the Gas reinstalled and completley working again, last night, i went to start the AU wagon while it was bone cold to put it away for the night, Crank, Crank, Crank, just kept on cranking until the battery went flat. This has been happening a fair bit lately, so tried to jump it with the EF, would still crank, then i knew this isnt normal as it would normally start after a Jumpstart. Turned the key to listen if i could hear anything different, but i realised i couldnt hear the fuel pump, checked it again, it wasnt turning on . So because this was close to 10pm and i wasnt really enthusiastic enough to fix an AU as i dont know much about them, called the NRMA, they tried, checked the fuel pump, still wasnt working, whacked it with the rubber mallet a few times, still didnt work so left it until the morning, tried again, still no go so got it towed on a flatbed to ultratune lakehaven. Hopefully the car will start normally when we get it back
As for the EF, no problems to mention. Only thing done today was fog lamps wired back up That is all..................

Check the fuel pump relay, if that is not the issue, the fuel pump needs replacing.

I swapped the relay for the fuel pump with the one fron the starter as i knew it worked and it still didnt start but with the gas system i have, there was another relay inside the footwell kick panel on the drivers side that controls the petrol on/off for when gas is on or off, i also changed that, checked for power at the start of the floor loom, got power, checked power at the socket for the pump, had power so i just thought that the fuel pump had gone so thats when i got the NRMA

Does anyone know if AU1 Futura power winders will fit into the EF ? Cause when i get the AU back im thinking of taking out the front power windows and the lecie antenna from the AU and install them into the EF
For now.......

No go there mate. They are a different regulator. You need windows from ANY Eseries.
Cheers BenJ

Cheers BenJ, good to know.
Well today im not going to do anything again to the EF as i just received a phone call from ultratune lakehaven saying that they swapped the fuel pump over but the new one isnt working either So they are going to try again just by running another set of 3 wires to the new pump and see if the car wants to start. IF it starts, then they will be checking all existing wiring which means the seats and carpet will be coming out Hopefully the AU will be back Tuesday or Wednesday and then i can get a few better pics of it. That is all for now.................

Well, considering that the EF is now the only working car at the moment as the AU has a dead fuel pump, I decided, i wont comprimise working on the EF incase something happenes so i thought i'll upload some new pictures
Can Anyone notice something different? Hint: its a new switch New gas switch The front of the car My favourite view The Diff Specs. Is this the factory one that came on all wagon gli's? Matt, here are a few for you so that you can tell me which has the better wiring This was done by the Gas conversion place This was done by me when i installed all of the fog light gear 1 year ago. Note i have soldered and heatshrinked all connections and of course, the stock engine That is all........... EDIT: the first pic with the gas bit, it had only been taped in with electrical tape
