I am not sure if it the height of the rear suspension or the indentation/ hole on the rear bar but it looks really high at the back and to close to the base of the tail gate but colour could change that. I am liking the rest of the kit though and it seems like yourself, BenJ and myself are all gonna end up with custom rear bars on our wagons within a month of each other. Great work

I am not meaning the height between the bottom of the bar to the ground I am meaning the height between the bottom of the bar and the bottom of the tail gate.

I know what you mean about clearance. My rear bar has bottomed out on a couple of driveways and its about 2-2.5 inches below the towbar. How far off is paint?

Paint isnt to bad if you have access to equipment. I am lucky and only have to pay between $400 and $500 for materials (tapes, paper, sand paper, thinners, hi fill and paint) as my partners father has all the equipment to spray the car and I have a mate who used to be a spray painter and panel beater who wants some air brushing done on his bike and because my partners father does airbrushing has done a deal for my mate and in return my mates sprays my car for nothing.
