this is the new ride, shes about 3 weeks old.
and shes a ONE OWNER LOW KM FULL SERVICE HISTORY fairmont. the original owner was 79yrs old and adored the old girl. always garaged, washed etc as it shows. the interior is spotless, there is one tiny tear in the drivers lumbar bar thats about the size of a 5cent coin. and that is the only damage to the interior. only bad thing is my drivers side window has appeared to become out of alignment and basically needs to be pulled up and down. makes it fun when trying to go through drivethrough. what im planning is to go on a bit of a wrecker hunt in the next few weeks and upgrade the TRIM level to a GHIA. hopefully find some uncracked undamaged leather GHIA seats aswell. do some more factory chrome work. looking to keep the car relatively FORD. look into some typhoons or XR rims for it soon. ovbiously open up that poor exhaust. nothing to over the top just a nice note with purely economy and performance in mind rather than my tip size. hopefully some CAM work which will ovbiously go hand in hand with some CHIP work. getting quoted soon. but other than that, this is the car. ohhhhhhh and i nearly forgot. the overall cost of this car was $1900 |

Its an EF Fairmont or Fairmont II
How you can tell is: Front grille Door moulds Rims Interior (seats and door trims) Boot garnish CAI + blue rocker cover But your EF has the passenger side airbag option which makes it look like an EL Fairmont dash. Looks a bit like car when i got it, hasnt changed much apart from small things that i have changed but make a huge difference once noticed. My EF Fairmont was a one owner car also, he looked after it well, serviced every 10,000kms by Ford (now has close to 600,000kms) so thats why my car runs better than my mates EF which has 200,000kms. Only thing wrong with mine atm is that there are heaps of stone chips but they will go away once i give the front end a re-spray at work. Have a look at my build thread, click link in my sig. |

Looking at the interior images, I think it is an EFII.
The ash tray was a different (drop down) style on the I's (from memory) rather than the hinge out on on the II's, as in the pictures here..........
