Hopefully.. otherwise they'll just have to stay bent..

Anywayz, I'll be wrecking this motor, so if anyone wants some bits off of it, let me know.

Well done.

A good tip is to use a small piece of board to allow the harmonic balancer to slide up/down, and then lay the same piece of board across the top of the rad support for the gear box to slide across on.

Cheers

Bet you wish you knew about that before you went ahead with it all, Tyler. Haha
It's those things that we all should know, but dont know, until we make a mistake and learn from it.

Keep it up mate, it'll be brilliant when you've finished it.
Hopefully you dont scratch that lovely rocker cover. ;)

It's not even bolted on, I'll definitely be putting the old cover on during the swap process :D

Good idea man,
I'd be too impatient then I'd go faaarrking nuts afterwards, because I smashed the new purdy looking cover

Progress, It's in, and almost ready to run.

This angle still wasn't enough to get the alternator and balancer to clear the front of the bay.. So I ended up going under the car and pulled it down even more.. Still wouldn't fit.. I needed to take the alternator bracket off and we managed to squeeze the engine in sideways.

This is about all the trans fluid I managed to catch.. it's not exactly a clear red, ahaha

Now it's just a matter of connecting everything under the car, like the transmission cooler lines, shifter, crossmember, tailshaft. Plus a few more plugs in the bay. Add all the fluids, chuck on my J3, turn the key, hope for glory..

looking forward to a start up vid!

Thanks man, I don't know if its the battery though..

This is all it's doing. Even with more charge.

It is getting a spark, we put a timing light on and it was flashing while cranking.. I'm pretty sure it has fuel because it's almost going but just aint. And it was like this regardless of the J3 chip being on.

Silly question, but are the fuel lines on the right way?

Atm, the feed line is on the bottom part of the rail, is that how it's supposed to be?

It's a bummer that it's not quite running yet hey,
good luck with it all.

If all else fails, just hit it with a few hundred cans of StartYaBastard. haha
