Well I've played with the idle and managed to get it to idle lower, meaning you can actually kind of hear the cam now :D

And here's a 0-100 video:

Goes nice man! 7 seconds is great for 3.45 gears. I'm only doin 6.2 with 4.10s.

Hell yeah, goes hard man! Mine's doing over 7sec's at the moment with all the work I've done lol, 3.23 gears FTL!

This thing would be quite lethal on the street with shorter diff gears

So I'll be fitting up some new rotors and new pads on Saturday, as well as bleeding the system.

Holy s**t they are awesome. The stopping power at about half pressure stops better than my old brakes if I was to "slam" it.

As you can see, the old rotors were f**k, and most likely illegal.

And for anyone who thought that brake bedding meant babying brakes for a few hundred kays, you've been doing it wrong.

Turns out the correct way is to stop briskly from 60kph consecutively about 6+ times, until the brakes smell and smoke. This bonds a microscopic layer of the brake pad material onto the rotor.

Time for an update.

Bought a wideband kit, along with a few sensors, going to try and get the ghia running well. Just need to buy the J3 connector. http://14point7.com/ - Pretty good stuff and quite cheap.

Installed an adjustable shift kit:
Image
Even on 100%, a full 5500rpm 1-2 shift, the tyres don't chirp. I swear to god my tyres are from another galaxy.
p.s. (the green wire goes on the other pin)

Also bought a GoPro 3 camera:

This was the first time I stuck it on my car, I had some stupid b**ch try to beat me through a roundabout  look closely at the 2nd entry to the roundabout.

Yea man, there is a massive thud and jolt when it changes on %70+, but no chirp.

Mine doesn't chirp either when adjusted to 100%. Recently at the drags I had it hitting 6k rpm into 2nd gear and no chirp at all. You can definitely feel it though, just bangs into the next gear with no hesitation in between.

What tyres you running on the rear? Could just be grippy tyres not allowing any spin in between.

I'm still waiting on my wideband kit, going to try and tune it further, and later on buy some whiteline swaybars.

But Christmas just likes to destroy peoples wallets.

Update time

Received my wideband kit and J3 programmer, got it tuned pretty well. Now it idles smoothly and is much more responsive over the whole rpm range.

Also repainted all my engine bay bits that were stupidly colour coded ford blue. Got an EL GT snorkel and a new coolant tank.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw7by7goCqQ - Check this s**t out :D

Since tuning it, the auto has been playing up.. soon enough I'm going to put a T5 in there.. but first that requires finding a T5 conversion in Perth. When I do find one, I'll take the box in to be rebuilt.

Can anyone recommend me a good clutch? I have no clue.
